Overview

At Tanbhaavan, we handpick every piece to ensure exceptional quality. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out — a size that doesn't fit, or an item that arrives damaged. Our Return & Exchange Policy is designed to make the process simple and hassle-free.

You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery for eligible items. Please read the conditions below carefully before initiating a request.

All return/exchange requests must be raised through our official channels — email or contact form — within the stipulated window. Requests raised after 7 days of delivery will not be entertained, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.

Eligibility Conditions

Eligible for Return

  • Item received in a defective or damaged condition.
  • Wrong item or wrong size delivered by us.
  • Item significantly different from the product description or images.
  • Manufacturing defects such as loose stitching, broken buttons, or colour bleeding.
  • Item is unworn, unwashed, and unused.
  • All original tags and packaging are intact.
  • Return raised within 7 days of delivery date.

Not Eligible for Return

  • Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
  • Items returned without original tags, packaging, or accessories.
  • Sale, discounted, or final-sale items (unless defective).
  • Custom-stitched or personalised items.
  • Innerwear, lingerie, or intimate products for hygiene reasons.
  • Items where return is requested due to a change of mind.
  • Requests raised after 7 days of delivery.

Important: To raise any return or exchange request for a defective or wrong item, you must provide clear photos/video of the item, packaging, and delivery label at the time of reporting. Claims without supporting evidence may not be processed.

How to Initiate a Return

Raise a Request Within 7 Days

Email us at tanbhaavanoffical@gmail.com with your Order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, reason for return, and clear photos/video of the item and packaging.

Approval & Confirmation

Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and send you a confirmation email with further instructions. Not all requests may be approved — eligibility will be assessed.

Pack & Ship the Item

Once approved, securely pack the item with all original tags and packaging. Ship it to the address provided in the confirmation email within 3 days of approval.

Quality Check on Receipt

Once we receive the item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets return eligibility conditions. This takes 2–3 business days.

Refund or Exchange Processed

After successful QC, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days, or your replacement item will be dispatched within 2–3 business days.

Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for the following reasons within 7 days of delivery:

  • Size exchange — if the delivered size doesn't fit as expected.
  • Colour exchange — if the delivered colour is significantly different from what was ordered.
  • Defective item — exchange for the same product in correct condition.

Size Exchange

  • Subject to availability of the requested size.
  • If the requested size is unavailable, a store credit or refund will be offered.
  • Re-shipping of the exchanged item is free for the first exchange.

Colour / Style Exchange

  • Only applicable if the delivered colour/style differs from order.
  • Change of mind colour exchanges are not accepted.
  • Difference in colour due to screen display is not grounds for exchange.

Tanbhaavan reserves the right to decline an exchange request if the item does not meet our return eligibility conditions upon receipt. A re-shipping fee may apply in such cases.

  • Refunds are initiated only after the returned item passes our quality check.
  • For COD orders, you must provide your bank account details (account number and IFSC) to receive the refund via NEFT.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • If you choose store credit, it is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

If the return is due to our error — wrong item, defective product, or item not matching description — we will arrange a pickup at no cost to you.

You Cover the Shipping

For size exchanges or other customer-initiated returns, the customer is responsible for shipping the item back safely and securely.

  • Always use a trackable shipping method when sending items back. Tanbhaavan is not responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Package items securely to prevent damage during return shipping.
  • Include your Order ID and contact number inside the return package.
  • Return shipping costs are not reimbursed for customer-initiated returns.
