Our story

Founded

2019

Tanbhaavan was born in 2019 when our founder Priya Sharma couldn't find ethnic wear that honoured both tradition and the needs of a modern woman. Frustrated by the choice between watered-down fast fashion and unwearable heirlooms, she set out to find a middle path.

She travelled to Rajasthan, Lucknow, and Kanchipuram — sitting with weavers, learning their vocabulary of colour and weave, understanding what made each fabric alive. What she brought back wasn't just cloth — it was relationship.

"Every piece carries the soul of the artisan who made it."

— Priya Sharma, Founder

What started as a curated Instagram page has grown into a brand trusted by over 10,000 women across India. We remain small by choice — because care does not scale infinitely.

What We Stand For

01

Artisan Craftsmanship

Every piece is handpicked from master weavers carrying generations of tradition. No factory floors — only hands that care.

02

Made for Every Body

Sizes XS–5XL, designed on real women. We believe beauty is not a single silhouette.

03

Thoughtful Sourcing

Natural fabrics, ethical supply chains. We know the name of the farm where our cotton grows.

04

Curated, Not Catalogued

Each collection tells a specific story — a region, a technique, a season. Never mass-produced noise.
