We understand that plans change. At Tanbhaavan, we try to make the cancellation process as simple and transparent as possible. Whether you placed an order by mistake, need to update it, or simply changed your mind, this policy outlines everything you need to know.
Cancellations are accepted free of charge before an order is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled — but you may be eligible for a return or exchange as per our separate policy.
The fastest way to cancel is to contact us within 12 hours of placing your order. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Acting quickly gives us the best chance to cancel before dispatch.
When Can You Cancel?

Before Order is Dispatched
You can cancel your order any time before it is handed over to the courier. You will receive a full refund with no deductions. Contact us immediately via email or WhatsApp.
⚠ Partial — Case by Case
Order Processed but Not Yet Dispatched
If your order has been packed and is awaiting pickup by the courier, we will try our best to cancel it. If successful, a full refund is issued. If the courier has already collected it, cancellation is not possible.

After Dispatch
Once the order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been assigned, cancellation is no longer possible. You may initiate a return after delivery as per our Return & Exchange Policy.

Sale orders are eligible for cancellation before dispatch only. Refund is issued minus any coupons applied.

How to Cancel Your Order
To cancel an order, please reach out to us using any of the following methods:
Via Email
Send an email to tanbhaavanoffical@gmail.com with the subject line "Order Cancellation – [Your Order ID]". Include your name, order ID, and reason for cancellation.

Response within 1–2 hoursVia Contact Form
Fill in the Contact Us form on our website with your order details and cancellation request.
Response within 4–6 hoursPlease do not refuse delivery in place of a cancellation request. Refused deliveries result in return shipping costs that may be deducted from your refund. Always contact us before refusing a delivery.

- Refunds are processed only after the cancellation is confirmed by our team.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment source only — we do not transfer to a different account.
- Any cashback or rewards earned through third-party apps on the original order may also be reversed by those platforms independently.
- Convenience fees or payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable.
- If you used a combination of wallet credit and card payment, each portion will be refunded to its original source.
Cancellation by Tanbhaavan
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel your order. This may happen due to:
- Item going out of stock or being discontinued after your order was placed.
- Payment verification failure or suspected fraudulent activity.
- Incorrect pricing displayed due to a technical error on our platform.
- Delivery address falling outside our serviceable area.
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
In all cases where Tanbhaavan initiates a cancellation, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method with no deductions. We will notify you via email or phone within 24 hours of the cancellation.
Non-Cancellable Items
The following items and order types cannot be cancelled once placed:
Custom-stitched or personalised items where tailoring has already begun.
Orders already dispatched and assigned a tracking number.
Gift card or voucher purchases.
Items purchased during a flash sale marked as "non-cancellable".
Pre-order items once the production batch has been confirmed.
Bundled or combo offers where one item has already been processed.
